Feel free to ignore me if I'm getting annoying with all the suggestions. But I noticed that you just added a mature writing forum. Might I suggest a password be required. And you'd have to PM the administrators to get the password and they would verify that you were of a certain age, like say 18 or 21. Depending on how racy they think the writing would be.

Also what is the limit on the mature writing forum. Is it like regular romance novels where you have maybe some sex scenes maybe some harsher gore and such is it like erotica mature. hmmm.

I think there should be several subforums under Mature if you do that, so that it doesn't lock out younger people from seeing gore and whatnot. I mean, I understand not wanting younger viewers to read the sex scenes and whatnot, but I believe we're all pretty mature here (not as in mature content) and I think we can handle gore. Also, people may be squeamish and not want to view the gory parts but want to go into the sex scenes. You don't know. I for one, think we're all mature enough to figure out what to go in and what not to go in without a password, but that's just me.

i would like to mention the fact that people that love reading romances and horror books and pretty much everything is ok with reading it. so i dont think its fair that you block us just cause of age. i think it should depend on how you react to it, that way you only block people who cant handle it. im only 12 so im voicing up for the younger readers who read adult level books

That's true. But I mostly meant for the really bad stuff. I mean it'd be like letting potentially a 8 year old watch an R- rated movie or a porn. I mean this is just my personal opinion. But I can understand your POV.

i can understand your pov too. but i agree with almost completly but it still think it should be based on how they react to it. but since we dont actually know eachother then i can understand how that would be a prob.

because I personally will probably be posting some very mature content, and I really wouldn't recommend very young readers reading it. It could be an erotica book, if I was allowed to post it. I don't know how high of mature content we're allowed on here?

Probably sounding like a broken record here, but I agree about the whole maturity thing. I feel that if someone thinks they can handle whatever anyone posts, then yeah they should be allowed to go on. Obviously we all don't really know each other that well just yet, so we don't know the full maturity level/personality of everyone, haha. From what I've read so far I think we all can pretty much handle any type of writing (swears, sex, gore, etc.)

I don't want to sound like a really stupid person, but I'm going to say I think I'm mature for my age, and it's been said to me before so it must be true, right? ;] Haha, anyways... I think it should just be an open thing, and if someone is too immature to handle things said on the internet, maybe they shouldn't be on the computer in the first place, yeah?
